Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product or service supplied by LUX4U has a major failure, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, repair, compensation or other remedy as provided by law.

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

Memberships

LUX4U Memberships provide access to discounts, partner offers, promotions and other benefits as described on our Website.

Membership fees are generally non-refundable once purchased.

If you cancel an ongoing Membership, your Membership benefits will remain active until the end of your current billing period and no further recurring payments will be charged.

Change-of-mind refunds are not provided for Membership purchases unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

If a Membership payment is reversed, refunded or subject to a chargeback, LUX4U reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Membership and remove any associated benefits, promotional entries or rewards.

LUXCards

LUXCards are digital stored-value gift cards that may be redeemed with participating LUX4U partner businesses in accordance with the LUXCard Terms & Conditions.

Change-of-mind refunds are not provided for LUXCards once issued, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

LUXCards:

  • are non-reloadable;

  • are not redeemable for cash except where required by law;

  • may only be redeemed with participating partner businesses; and

  • expire in accordance with the applicable LUXCard Terms & Conditions.

If a LUXCard purchase is refunded, reversed or subject to a chargeback:

  • the LUXCard may be cancelled or suspended;

  • any remaining balance may be removed;

  • any associated complimentary promotional entries may be reversed, cancelled or deemed invalid.

Promotional Entries

Where complimentary promotional entries are provided in connection with a Membership, LUXCard or other qualifying transaction, LUX4U reserves the right to reverse, cancel or invalidate those entries where:

  • the underlying transaction is refunded;

  • the underlying transaction is reversed or charged back;

  • fraud, manipulation or abuse is suspected; or

  • the transaction otherwise breaches the applicable Terms & Conditions.

Complimentary promotional entries have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash.

Processing Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider, however approved refunds are generally processed within 14 business days.
